| Many many thanks to volunteer Nancy Bullock, who for the second year in a row had the difficult task of recording everyone's times & race numbers all by herself at the 10 miler turnaround! The job is deceptively difficult for a single person (requiring one to juggle bib numbers and clock times without mixing up any of the numbers), but Nancy did a terrific job. Names of members of the Shenandoah Valley Runners at the time of the race are in bold blue print; names of Loudoun Road Runners Club members are in bold red; and names of South Riding Running Club members are in bold green. The grey columns below show each runner's time, pace, and order as they reached the 5 mile turnaround. The green columns give times and paces for the second half of the race, and the green "rank" column shows a ranking of these second half times against one another. All split times are rounded to the nearest second. Just fifteen participants managed "negative splits", running the second half of the race faster than the first. Brad Conver, meanwhile, ran exactly the same time for the first and second halves of the race! Don't forget that we've got the regular 10 miler results and an awards list, too.
